Bonnie Koziczynski
(Kozy), age 80, of Chesterton, IN, passed away surrounded by her loving
family on Thursday, November 21, 2019, in Chesterton, IN.
She was born on
August 13, 1939, in Three Oaks, MI, to Clement and Vada (Benford) Bishop.
Bonnie was a
lifelong resident of Chesterton, she graduated from Chesterton High School
Class of 1957. Her life was family, she loved spending time with her
children, grandchildren and recently great-grandchildren. Bonnie enjoyed
spending time with Pinnacle friends "LaClub". She loved spoiling her
grandkids and was an avid Blackhawks fan.
Bonnie is survived
by her husband of 60 years, Jim Koziczynski (Kozy); children, Christopher
Koziczynski, Mary (Joe) Banks and Paul (Barbra) Koziczynski; grandchildren,
Ryan (Krystle), Allana (Christopher), Olivia, Zachary, Lilly, Melissa
(Scott), Eric and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Warren, Charlotte, Rosie,
Luca, Emme and Blythe; sister-in-law, Winnie Chaplin; many nieces and
nephews, and special friends The Kovalan Family.
She was preceded in
death by her parents, Clement and Vada Bishop; brother, Roger, and sisters,
Joan and Joyce, and grandson, Jeffery Von Huben.
Visitation will be
held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at
Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN.
Graveside service
will be held on Wednesday, November 27 at 11:00 a.m., directly at Chesterton
Cemetery, 300 E. Porter Ave., Chesterton, IN.
