Celebration of Life for Teresa J. Weekley Thursday

Back To Front Page

Teresa J. Weekley, age 60, went Home to Glory the evening of December 5, 2018.

She was born September 24, 1958 in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Teresa loved Jesus and family with all her heart, mind, and soul. She aspired to be the hands and feet of Him each day as she used the gifts she received to serve as a faithful steward of God's grace. Teresa demonstrated the love of Christ through her amazing food, her handmade cards, singing in the choir and teaching Bible studies over her lifetime. She was passionate about sharing God's word and her advice was always steeped in wisdom. In addition to sharing her gifts Teresa was a lifelong student of God's word. It was through her incredible strength and faith that later in life she graduated from Charis Bible College. Teresa is an inspiration and will be genuinely missed.

She is survived by her three daughters: Angela Louise, Melissa (MSgt Lawrence) Bach, and Tara (SFC Martin) Santoro; grandchildren: Nathaniel, Andrew, Kathryn, and Caleb Cade; Isabella, and Bethany Karis Bach; Melanie, Timothy, and Annaliese Santoro; and life partner Jonathan Raber.

Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Charles Weekley, mother, Louise (Griffith) Weekley, brother, William Weekley, and her beloved Scottish Terrier, Baxter (whom we all agree was her favorite child).

A Celebration of Life will be hosted in Teresa’s honor on December 20, 2018, at 4 p.m. at Sand Creek Country Club, 1001 Sand Creek Drive, Chesterton, Indiana, 46304. Teresa’s dear friend Reverend Dr. Brian K. Hayes will be officiating.

Memorials may be given to the JPS Health Network in her name. www.jpshealthnet.org.
