Service Tuesday for Lane Walker Dunscomb, 8

Lane Walker Dunscomb, age 8, peacefully passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015, at his home in Greenwood.

Born June 9, 2006 in Columbus, IN, he was a 3rd grader at St. Barnabas Catholic Church.

Lane had a special gift of connecting with people where he influenced any life he touched. Whether it was his intense love of football or exotic super sports cars, he was able to make anyone feel like they could accomplish anything despite the odds. Lane displayed his great wisdom, wit, strength and courage in everything he did whether it was playing on his ipad, playing sports, creating his art work, or riding his go-cart.

Survivors include his parents, James L. and Jennifer A. (Pappas) Dunscomb; his sister, Alexis Dunscomb; grandparents, James and Judy Pappas; Dick Dunscomb, Judy Brewer and Jeff Brewer; aunts and uncles: Michael (Kristy) Pappas, Julie (Jonathan) Earles, Jeff Dunscomb, Brian (Julie) Dunscomb and many cousins.

Visitation will be 4-8:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.

Additional visitation will be from 10-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis, IN, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.

Lane will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to www.rileykids.org/lane or St. Barnabas Church. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.ghherrmann.com.

To celebrate and honor Lane, the family requests that each of you print and bring your favorite picture of Lane to the visitation for display.
