James Edward
Stalbaum, 74, of Springville, Tennessee, formerly of Otis, Indiana, passed
away Sunday, April 26, 2015.
He was born January
13, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late James G. and Agnes Stalbaum.
On November 4,
1961, he married Carlene (Wilke) Stalbaum in Michigan City, Indiana, who
preceded him in death on May 4, 2000.
On June 30, 2001,
Jim married Judy (Parrish) Stalbaum in Michigan City, Indiana, who survives
in Springville, Tennessee.
James is survived
by children, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Stalbaum of Chesterton, IN, John (Carrie)
Stalbaum of LaPorte, IN, and Carla (Demetrius) Morris of Kissimmee, FL.
Grandchildren are Margaret Stalbaum, Matthew (Melissa) Stalbaum, Brandi
Cook, Amber Stalbaum, Connor Stalbaum, Carson Stalbaum and Kory Reid. Great
-grandchildren are Jace Pickford and Michael Urban.
He was preceded in
death by one grandchild, Philip Jeffrey Stalbaum.
Surviving siblings
include Lucille Chodzko, of Oak Lawn, IL, and Ronald (Janice) Stalbaum, of
Maryland.
Additionally, Jim
is survived by step-children Lori Parrish of Springville, TN, and Terry
(Megan) Parrish of Granger, IN. Step-grandchildren are Tiffany, Steffany,
Katelynn, Gabriella, Mara, Levi and Jack.
In his younger
years, Jim was an avid gardener and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Jim was
known by all as a very jolly man that knew no strangers as he would talk to
just about anyone. Most of all, Jim enjoyed spending time with his family,
friends and neighbors. He will be missed by all that knew him.
