David Michael Paschen services Saturday

David Michael Paschen, age 62, of Chesterton, IN, loving and devoted husband of Mary (Jackowiak); beloved and loyal son of Alfred and Pat Paschen; fond brother of Janice (John) Swardson, Neal (Debra) and Pamela (Dominic) Argostino; and adored uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015, at his home.

David was preceded in death by his wonderful in-laws, Margaret and Lenny Jackowiak.

The family is extremely grateful to their extended family from Sandpiper and Watertower in Chesterton.

David’s great loves were his wife, Mary, his family owned recreational vehicle business, Camp-Land (Burns Harbor, IN) and all of his pet rescues: Jose, Grissom, C.T., Ellie, Thelma and Louise and the late Chanel, Spuds, Shadow, Mo, Bear and Lucy. His babies will dearly miss their papa.

Dave participated in many charitable causes: Loyal Order of Moose-Lodge 1623-Chesterton, IN, Former Docent-Washington Park Zoo-Michigan City, IN, and Beta Society-Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Dave and Mary loved domestic and foreign travel, especially their trip to Napa Valley with mom and dad Paschen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton, with Pastor Lori Rizer officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a service given by the Loyal Order of Moose-Lodge 1623 at 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
