John Charles
Beschinski, 62, of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away Monday, April 21, 2014, at
the VNA Hospice Center with his family and friends by his side.
John was born
November 27, 1951, to Eugene and Carol (Babcock) Beschinski, both of whom
survive.
A 1969 graduate of
Jackson Twp., John married the love of his life, Beverly Snider on September
5, 1970. They had two daughters, Annette of Phoenix, Ariz.., and Kara (Doug)
Deardorff of Valparaiso. The light of his world was his grandson Dylan
Charles Deardorff, age 2.
Also surviving are
brother Ken (Rachel), sister-in-law, Jay Beschinski, brother and
sister-in-law Bill (Sue) Snider, mother-in-law Margaret (Ailes) Snider, 12
nieces and nephews and friends and family. John was preceded in death by
brother Jeff, brothers-in-law Don and David Snider and father-in-law Charles
Snider.
He enjoyed playing
golf and riding his Harley, but mostly spending time with family and
especially Dylan. His family is sure he’s in Heaven golfing, riding a
Harley, playing party poker and watching “Boo ya guy station.” John was a
quiet caring guy, who listened more than he talked and was called “Dad” or
“Grandpa” by many.
Funeral services
will be held Friday, April 25, 2014, at 11:0 a.m. at Bartholomew Funeral
Home, 102 Monroe St., Valparaiso, Ind., with Pastor Steve Ailes officiating.
Entombment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.
Friends may visit
with the family at the Bartholomew Funeral Home, on Thursday, April 24, from
3-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers,
the family asks memorial donations be made to the VNA Hospice, 2401 Valley
Dr., Valparaiso, IN, 46383.
