Beverly Egolf services Tuesday

Beverly Lorraine Egolf, age 79 of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at her home.

She was born April 23, 1934 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Calvin and Lois (Dick) Wilson.

On April 4, 1953, she married Edwin D. Egolf, Sr. who preceded her in death December 13, 2005.

Surviving are three sons, Daniel “Red” (Sherry) Egolf of Okla., Edwin “Skip” (Patricia) Egolf, Jr. of Valparaiso, Ind., and Eric (Sherri Sesniak) Egolf of Chesterton, Ind.; a daughter Rebecca (Thomas) Rogers of Valparaiso, Ind.; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and two brothers; Richard (Carol) Wilson of Chesterton, Ind., and Douglas (Kathy) Wilson of Florida.

Her parents, a granddaughter Cassandra Rogers and a grandson Jimmy Sesniak also preceded her in death.

Beverly was a member of the First Christian Church, D.O.C., and worked at the Singer Sewing Center, with the Census bureau and Brownie’s ice cream.

Funeral aervices will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church, D.O.C., 1507 Glendale Blvd., Valparaiso, Ind., with the Rev. David Kovalow-St. John officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 6, 2013, 3-8 p.m. at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St., Valparaiso.
