Arianna Golday celebration of life Saturday

Back To Front Page

Arianna Dawn Golday, of Chesterton, died March 4, 2014.

She was born March 19, 2008 to Sumer and Justin Golday of Chesterton.

Arianna touched the lives of so many people. She was born with special needs, and we believe she was given to us because God knew we were capable of taking care of those needs.

It was only us who understood her unique way of communicating and showing her love, and only us who knew her time here on earth was a blessing.

Arianna may have left us here full of sorrow and grief, but she also left us here with many gifts that will be forever enjoyed. She taught us love, joy, strength, perseverance, and patience, as well as those to the contrary, though the latter we now know how to battle, because of her. An endless list would contain the number of miracles Arianna has allowed us to witness, all the while bringing our family closer together.

Arianna will be forever missed, but we know her time with us served a purpose, and she can now run and play with the angels. Sweet dreams, Tiny Angel.

Arianna is survived by her parents, Sumer and Justin Golday, and siblings Karley, Erica, Dustin, and Brooklyn.

Also, grandparents Greg and Christina Golday, Drew and Dawn Gatewood; uncles Jared Bonomo, Clayton Gatewood, Jason Golday (Melissa); as well as great-grandparents Patricia Bailey, Bob and Gaynelle Hovermale and many other great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandpa James Bonomo, great-grandparents John and Leona Golday, great-grandparents James and Dolores Bonomo and great-grandpa David Bailey.

Special caregivers include Jo Ellen Rust (MSN, RN Clinical Nurse Specialist), Jennifer Mitchell (LPN) and Natalie Neary (RN).

The Golday-Gatewood family would like to share a celebration of Arianna’s life, to be held at the United Methodist Church in Chesterton, on Saturday, March 15, at 3:00 p.m. with Senior Pastor Scott Tyring leading the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald Charities in Indianapolis in memory of Arianna Dawn Golday.
