Debra Lynn Hendron dies at age 50

Debra Lynn (nee Keith) Hendron, of Jackson Twp., passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012, at the age of 50 at her home.

Debra was born on April 9, 1961 in Hazel Crest, Ill.

She was formerly of Steger, Ill., and graduated from Bloom Township High School in Chicago Heights, Ill.

Debra is survived by her husband, Daniel E. Hendron of Jackson Twp.; children, Donald (Angela) Hendron of Chicago, Ill., Seann Hendron, of Chesterton, Ind. and Theresa (Anthony) Hendron of Steger, Ill.; grandsons, Kyle and Vincent Hendron; mother, Donna Vagnoni of Chesterton; sisters, Nancy (Ray) Grosholz of Hollywood, Fla., Betty (John) Weber of Park Forest, Ill.; sister-in-law, Janet Keith of San Diego, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Keith; brother, John Keith; and step-father, David Vagnoni.

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #170 in Chesterton,

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the Dykes Funeral Home, 2305 N. Campbell St., Valparaiso, Ind. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1855 W. Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso, Ind., with Rev. Joseph Pawlowski officiating. Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, Ill.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Dykes Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Wake Service at 5:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Valparaiso Lions Club.
