Jennifer T. Connolly, age 64 of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Chesterton,
passed away Saturday, September 10, 2010 at The Seasons Hospice Center in
Waukesha Wisconsin.
She was born in Chicago Illinois on May 31, 1946 to her parents, Patrick J.
Connolly VII and Jennie Koss-Connolly. Jennifer is survived by her mother
Jennie Connolly of Chesterton, her uncle Joe Koss, her aunt Betty Koss,
Goddaughter Lexi Chavez, Godson Troy Houch and many cousins, second cousins
and numerous friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Patrick J. Connolly VII in 1984 and
her brother Father Patrick Connolly VIII in 2002. Jennifer was a member of
St. Patrick Catholic Church, was a graduate of Chesterton High School,
received her Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola University and received her
Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Jennifer taught for 36 years as a Science teacher in the Cudahy School
System in Cudahy, Wisconsin. She was a humanitarian who loved nature and
animals and had numerous pets of all kinds. She enjoyed traveling especially
to Ireland and was very proud of her Irish heritage and also enjoyed walking
the trails at Coffee Creek and swimming at the Dunes with her family and
friends.
There will be a mass of Christian burial on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at
11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 North Calumet Road in
Chesterton, with Father Patrick Gaza officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 17, at
the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd Street, and also on Saturday from
10 to 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. A prayer service will be held
at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the
family requests memorial donations to the Humane Society and the Independent
Cat Society.
