Virginia Lilovich dies at 75

Virginia Lilovich, of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007 at Regency Hospital, Portage. She was 75.

She was born June 1, 1931, in Chicago the daughter of Matt and Etta (Ginay) Lilovich, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Lilovich of LaPorte and Loretta (Edwin) Sikorski of LaPorte; two brothers, George (Ann) Lilovich and John (Mary) Lilovich, both of LaPorte and 13 nieces and nephews.

Virginia had been a lab technician/phlebotomist for 30 years at South Chicago Trinity, Chicago. She was a member of Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, Coolspring Farmers Institute and Farm Bureau and had served on the board. She was also a member of the Women’s Guild of Trinity Hospital of Chicago. She loved to shop and travel and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted sister and aunt.

Funeral services, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 29 at Queen of All Saints Church, Michigan City.

Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington St. Michigan City. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chicago.
