Marjorie Ann Olson dies at 86

Marjorie Ann Olson, of Jackson Twp., passed away Tuesday evening, July 17, 2007 at Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus, Valparaiso. She was 86.

She was born Jan. 2, 1921 in Erie, Pa., the daughter of Frank Albin and Elsa (Traff) Widmark, both of whom preceded her in death.

On March 22, 1952 in Chesterton, she married Carl J. Olson, who survives in Jackson Twp.

She is also survived by two daughters, Carol O’Dell of Valparaiso and Beverly (John) Puller, of Jackson Twp.; two granddaughters, Katrina (Ray) Major of Valparaiso and Kristina (Shawn) Simons of Valparaiso; five great-grandchildren, Megan, Micah, Madison, MacKenzie and Miranda.

Marge was a home maker. She was a member of Liberty Bible Church, Keenagers Group at Liberty Bible. She was a member of Westchester Homemakers and enjoyed knitting and baking.

Funeral services, Pastor Michael G. Sutton officiating, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2007 at Liberty Bible Church, 824 N. Calumet Ave., Chesterton. Interment will be at Chesterton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, at White-Love Funeral Home, 525 S. 2nd St., Chesterton and Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Church.

Memorials may be given to Liberty Bible Church.
