Jeff Nallenweg dies at 44

Jeff Nallenweg, 44, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at Parkview Hospital.

Jeff was born December 9, 1962 at Porter Memorial Hospital, the son of Karl and Fran Nallenweg, both of whom survive in Chesterton.

On April 25, 1987 in Marion, Indiana, Jeff married Sandy Griffith, who survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Shay 17; sons, Kyle 14 and Sean 6; daughter, Madi, four months, all of Fort Wayne; brothers, Terry (Kay) Nallenweg of Westville; Garry (Mary) Nallenweg and Glen (Mary Beth) Nallenweg both of Chesterton; a sister, Karla (Jim) Bonfield of Chesterton; mother-in- law, Candy Osborn of Marion; sister-in-law, Jody Griffith and brother-in-law, Scott Griffith, both of Marion; nine nieces and five nephews.

Jeff graduated from Chesterton High School in 1981. He was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church.

He was a warehouse manager with Fort Wayne Pools and had previously worked for Guardian Industries for fifteen years. Jeff was a loving and faithful husband and a devoted father. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, cooking, camping and landscaping. His other joy was sports. His favorite teams were I.U., the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. Jeff will be missed for his loving affection toward his entire family, as well as his sense of humor and positive outlook on life.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Fort Wayne, Ind. at 11a.m. Thursday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church 1500W. State St. with calling one hour prior.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road in Fort Wayne.

Memorials may be made to the Children’s Education Fund.
