Ann Peterson dies at 75

Ann K. Peterson (nee Bitcon), 75, of Rochester, Minn., formerly of Munster and Valparaiso, passed away, Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007.

She is survived by two children, Dave (Michelle) Peterson of Schererville and Debra (Dr. Steven) Zeldenrust of Rochester, Minn.; four grandchildren, Daniel, Jon, Eric and Nicole; sister-in-law, Phyllis “Pep” (Jack) Wagner of Wheaton, Ill. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall; parents, Isabella and Andrew Bitcon; and brother, Jack Bitcon.

Ann was a member of Liberty Bible Church of Chesterton. She attended North Park College; was formerly employed at Inland Steel in Chicago for 10 years and worked in the clerk treasurer’s office in Munster for several years.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30 directly at Liberty Bible Church, 824 N. Calumet Ave. (old SR 49), Chesterton. Interment will be at Chesterton Cemetery.

Friends are invited to meet with the family from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Liberty Bible Church or Seasons Hospice, 5650 Weatherhill Rd. SW, Rochester, MN 55902.
