The Chesterton
Tribune is announcing deadlines for letters to the editor and
advertisements for the November 3 General Election.
All Voice of the
People letters on behalf of candidates must be emailed by 5 p.m., Thursday,
October 29.
Letters that must
be typeset must be in the office my Noon, Thursday October 29.
No election letters
will be printed after Friday, October 30.
Letters must be 400
words or less and written by area residents or Chesterton Tribune
subscribers. Letters should be emailed as text in the body of the email.
Every effort will
be made to print all letters. In the event of lack of space during the days
before the election, preference will be given to shorter letters and letters
written by first-time writers. The Tribune reserves the right to
reject letters with inappropriate or threatening language and encourages
writers to be civil and stick to the facts and the issues.
Paid political
advertisements submitted as .pdf files must be emailed and paid for by 5
p.m. the day before the print date.
Advertisements
using other formats must be paid for and in the office by 5 p.m. two
days before the print date.
All political
advertisements must be paid in advance.
