Nearly 5000 Hoosiers positive for COVID19

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) is announcing this morning that 536 new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed, bringing the total of known cases to 4,944, up from 3,437 on Friday.

A total of 139 Hoosiers has died to date, up from 102 on Friday. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by IDSH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 26,191 tests have been reported to ISDH, up from 17,835 on Friday. Tests are being conducted by IDSH, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and private laboratories.

Marion had the most new cases, with 204. Other counties with more than 10 new cases were Porter (20), Allen (12), Decatur (10), Hamilton (35), Hancock (12), Hendricks (20), Johnson (28), Lake (34), Madison (14), Morgan (10), Ripley (10), and St. Joseph (10).
