Voice of the People
Wouldn’t it be nice if a police officer could be stationed at one or both
of the entrances to the high school during the morning rush? Since there are
now only two entrances (the main door entrance being closed to cars), it
would immeasurably improve the flow of traffic and mitigate accidents due to
the high number of vehicles attempting to enter the parking lots at CHS.
Other area schools provide police for traffic control. It makes more sense
to be proactive rather than reactive, with officers stationed at speed traps
to catch students hurrying to get to their first class.
