Voice of the People

Carpet baggers have entered rural Porter County with the new Unified Development Ordinance. They wish to change our rural way of life. Under the old ordinance, we could have a horse and a cow, some chickens and a sow, and a few broad acres.

We could eat the hog from the pen and the grain from the bin.

They wish to change all this and drive the small farmer from his land - all for the sake of development.

Attend the Porter County Plan Commission meeting Thursday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. Voice your concerns.
