The Porter Town Council will meet at 7 p.m.. Tuesday, March 26, at the town
At that meeting, members are scheduled to consider an ordinance which would
protect the dignity of funerals and the privacy of mourners from protests
and demonstrations, along the lines of those staged by the Westboro Baptist
Church of Topeka, Kan.
The council is also scheduled to discuss employee leave donations.

Earlier in the evening, at 6 p.m., the Redevelopment Commission will meet.
