Tuesday night’s scheduled meetings of the Porter Stormwater Management Board, the Redevelopment Commission and the Town Council did not take place due to a loss of power at the town hall.

According to deputy clerk-treasurer Karen Spanier, a tree went down near Mineral Springs Road and U.S. 20 temporarily disrupting NIPSCO power to all of the downtown and other areas. As of mid-morning today the meetings had not been rescheduled, she added.
