battered spirits, and left yards a mess. Now it’s time to break out the
rakes and tarps and clear space for the spring.
April 14, through Friday, April 18--will be Spring Cleanup Week in the Town
Rake leaves and
brush to the curb in separate piles.
Department’s leaf vacs will be making the rounds next week. Crews will
continue to collect brush past Friday, April 18, Street Commissioner John
Schnadenberg told the Chesterton Tribune today.
“It’s been an
intense winter,” Schnadenberg said. “We’ll try to take as much time as
needed to pick up debris.”
