School grad Tyler Vore (2014) has been selected to represent Team USA in the
International Six Day Enduro in Vina del Mar, Chile.
motocross race will be held Nov. 11-17 with countries from all over the
world sending their top riders. The race spans six days and includes over
1,500 kilometers of terrains ranging from mountains, forests, deserts,
cliffs, rocks, water and more.
The rigorous layout
will act as a course for more than 1,000 racers from 40 countries. Racers
will also be required to work on their own bikes during the race and only
have 15 minutes each day to do so.
Vore will graduate
from IUPUI this December with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology. During his 17
years of racing, Vore has been awarded the Enduro Grand Champion in his
district each of the last three years.
The estimated cost
per rider is between $20,000-$30,000 that includes travel, shipping of the
motorcycle to and from, living and food expenses, entry fees and more. Each
rider is responsible for their own fundraising.
