Trojan Volleyball falls at Crown Point

The Chesterton volleyball team dropped a 25-13, 25-10, 25-13 Duneland Athletic Conference decision at Crown Point on Tuesday night.

Offensively, Taylor Bowser led the Trojans with five kills and Kylie Vendramin had four kills. Ginger Hedrick tallied three kills.

Ella Whitmore dished out a team-best six assists, while Maggie Vrahoretis and Olivia Smilgius each recorded four assists.

Defensively, Lorann Lombardini had seven digs with Bowser adding five digs. Sammy Devereaux contributed four digs.

At the net, Caroline Parks and Rohe each had two blocks in the loss.

The Trojans return to the court on Thursday when they host Portage. The JV game is set for a 5 p.m. start.
