The Chesterton girls tennis team didn’t have much trouble Monday afternoon in picking up a 5-0 non-conference victory over Kankakee Valley.

In singles, Bobbi Modesto was victorious at No. 1 over Abbey Hamstra 6-0, 7-6 (8-6), while J.J. lee was a winner at No. 2 against Jennifer Anderson 6-2, 6-1. Sunny Lee won at No. 3 singles 6-3, 6-1 over Kaylyn Banaszak.

In doubles, Margaret Shinn and Meg Modesto beat Maranda Brown and Hayley Hoffman 6-1, 6-0 and Rachel McCrum and Amanda Susnak shut out Amanda Deohi and Lexi Hamstra 6-0, 6-0.
