The Chesterton girls swim team used its balance and depth and outlasted the field for top honors at the Hall of Fame Classic in Franklin over the weekend.

The Trojans finished first with 567 points, followed by Franklin (537) and Fishers (535) in the top three.

The lone individual winner for CHS was Jaclyn Klimczak with a victory in the 200 Back (2:03.25). the Trojans also won the 400 Free Relay with the group of Jadah Eshenaur, Maisyn Klimczak, Jaclyn Klimczak and Lauryn Kallay in 3:36.23.

Second place finishers included Jaclyn Klimczak in the 100 IM (1:00.90) and the 200 Fly (2:05.88). The 400 Medley Relay team of Jaclyn Klimczak, Jenn Gillen, Olivia Kroeger and Eshenaur were also runner-ups (4:02.85).

Third place point scorers were Lauryn Kallay in the 200 Free (1:57.01) and Antonia Frech in Diving (363.05). The 200 Free Relay of Eshenaur, Maisyn Klimczak, Abi Raines and Kallay also finished third (1:40.75).

Fourth place finishers included Maisyn Klimczak in the 200 Free (1:58.83) and 200 Back (2:10.87), Lauren Unruh in the 1000 Free (10:37.21), Eshenaur in the 50 Free (25.19), Olivia Kroeger in the 200 Fly (2:11.45) and Mady Elliot in the 50 Back (28.28).

The lone fifth place performer for CHS was Jenn Gillen in the 200 Breast (2:30.47).

Sixth place point scorers included Sarah Schimpf in Diving (319.05) and Unruh in the 400 IM (4:42.82). The 400 Free Relay quartet of Sophia Gill, Raines, Kroeger and Unruh also finished sixth (3:42.28).

The Trojans return to the pool on Tuesday when they host Michigan City beginning at 5:30 p.m.
