Trojan Boys XC splits double dual

The Chesterton boys cross country team split a Duneland Athletic Conference double dual on Tuesday at Lake Central.

The Trojans fell to the host Indians 15-49 and beat Michigan City 15-50.

Tyler Vore was the top runner for Chesterton with a seventh place finish in 18:57. Jonah Noel also cracked the top 10 with a ninth place run (18:58).

The rest of the Trojan top seven included Alex Genetski (13th, 19:17), Mitch Wilborn (14th, 19:18), Parker Whitmore (17th, 19:45), Michael Amling (18th, 19:46) and Kevin Beatty (22nd, 19:59).
