Back To Front Page

The Chesterton boys soccer team traveled to Munster and came away with a 1-1 tie against the Mustangs on Saturday.

“We have to learn how to create more quality chances on a smaller field,” Chesterton coach Lucas Sabedra said. “We had one defensive breakdown in the game and it cost us a tie.”

Zack Bowser scored the lone goal for the Trojans, while Seth Conway dished out an assist. Charlie Eaton recorded six saves in goal.

“Seth played a beautiful ball with the outside of his foot to Zack,” Sabedra said. “We had several other chances to score. We hit the crossbar twice. Frustrating game for everyone.”

CHS returns to the field on Wednesday when they host Crown Point. The JV game is slated for a 5 p.m. start.
