Back to Front Page

Itís been a big week for Chesterton boys golf coach Kent Butler.

The first-year head coach ran the Boston Marathon on Monday and picked up the first three wins of his career on Thursday as the Trojans (166) edged Boone Grove (168), Andrean (172) and Lowell (207) at Lakes of the Four Seasons.

Consistency was the key for CHS as Boone Grove posted the three lowest scores of the night, but couldnít come up with a fourth.

Jay Crots fired a 40 to lead the Trojans, followed by Logan Krantz (41), Adam VanderZanden (42) and Austin Johnson (43). Mike Marshall rounded out the scoring with a 48.
