Trojan boys basketball team beats Columbus North

The Chesterton boys basketball team out scored Columbus North 19-8 in the fourth quarter to win the 7th place game of the Noblesville Holiday Tournament 65-54 on Wednesday.

Austin Peterson scored a game-high 29 points in the victory to lead the Trojans. Ray Yagelski added 13 points.

Peterson hit four 3-pointers as Chesterton cashed in seven times from 3-point range.

Rounding out the scoring for the Trojans was Ky Palombizio (8 points), Jake Wadding (7 points), Erik Ralph (6 points) and Noah Mahoney (2 points).

Chesterton returns to the court on Friday, Jan. 6 when they host Merrillville in a boys-girls doubleheader beginning at 5:30 p.m.
