The No. 3 ranked Chesterton boys swim team opened its season with a 142-41 victory at Northridge on Saturday.

The lone double event winner for the Trojans was Andrew Alders with victories in the 100 Free (46.72) and the 100 Breast (57.36).

Other individual event winners for CHS included Jordan Killosky in the 200 Free (1:47.67), Lucas Piunti in the 200 IM (1:54.86), Gabe Kroeger in the 50 Free (22.42), Triston Tune in Diving (165.15), Connor Casbon in the 100 Fly (51.73) and Alejandro Kincaid in the 100 Back (50.99).

The Trojans also won all three relays beginning with the 200 Medley group of Piunti, Alders, Connor Casbon and Kroeger (1:35.98).

The 200 Free Relay team of Carter Casbon, Jack Wheele, Cormac Fallon and Kroeger (1:32.83) won their event, while the 400 Free Relay quartet of Piunti, Killosky, Kincaid and Alders won in 3:16.06.

Chesterton returns to the pool on Tuesday when they open DAC competition at Crown Point. Swimming begins at 5:30 p.m.
