The Chesterton High Junior Varsity softball team trounced LaPorte at LaPorte Thursday, 14-1.

The offense was sparked by Kayla Karriman, who blasted two home runs driving in 5 runs.

Also getting multiple hits were Shelby Carter, Megan Legler, Sierra LaFreniere, Amanda Dujmovich and Lindsey Campbell.

Jessica Stacy pitched an almost flawless complete game in the win with no earned runs and no walks.
