The Chesterton girls track team dropped its Duneland Athletic Conference opener on Tuesday night 87-45 at Lake Central.

The Trojans got a pair of victories from Stephanie Fisher in the 100 hurdles (16.99) and the 300 hurdles (48.44). Other individual winners included Kristen Homme in the 1600 (5:36.80) and Tori Schroeder in the 800 (2:30.91).

Chesterton also won the 4x800 Relay with the quartet of Homme, Schroeder, Haley Cushway and Rosie Biehl finishing in 9:59.34.

The Trojans return to the track on Saturday when they host the Chesterton Relays beginning at 10 a.m.
