The IHSAA Girls Basketball Sectional scheduled to begin tonight at Valparaiso High School has been postponed due to the weather.

Tonight’s scheduled games will be played on Wednesday and will include a 6 p.m. tipoff between the host Vikings and Chesterton. LaPorte and Portage will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday night, Michigan City will play No. 6-ranked Merrillville at 6 p.m. That game will be followed by Crown Point and Hobart at about 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday night’s winners will play on Saturday morning followed by Thursday night’s winners. The winners from Saturday morning will play on Saturday night for the Championship.

Saturday’s game times have yet to be determined.
