CHS Soccer Maroon Gold scrimmage tonight to benefit Wendy Smith

The CHS boys and girls soccer teams will be having their Maroon/Gold scrimmage tonight as a benefit to raise funds for teacher Wendy Smith.

The girls scrimmage begins at 6 p.m. with the boys game to follow about 7:15 p.m. Cost of admission is a monetary donation.

Smith is continuing her fight against a Stage 3 inoperable brain tumor. The girls will be wearing Wendy’s Warriors t-shirts as their game jerseys.

The CHSGirls will participate in the Munster Jamboree on Saturday beginning at 8:45 a.m. and open the regular season on Tuesday, Aug. 15 against Michigan City.

The JV kickoff is set for 5 p.m.

The CHS Boys open their regular season on Monday, Aug. 14 when they host Boone Grove.

The JV game will begin at 4:30 p.m.
