CHS Golf finishes 6th at Uebele Invitational

The Chesterton boys golf team finished sixth overall at the 76th Annual Uebele Invitational at Beechwood Golf Course in LaPorte on Friday.

Valparaiso won the event with a 311 team score, followed by Penn (312), LaPorte (316), Triton (322) and Lake Central (324) in the top five. The Trojans fired a 331.

Logan Krantz and Austin Johnson fired 82’s to lead Chesterton. They were followed by Evan Zondor (83), Brandon Martni (84) and Jay Crots (86).

Lake Central’s TC Cameron took medalist honors with a one-over-par 73.
