CHS Girls XC sweeps DAC double dual

The Chesterton girls cross country swept a pair of races in a Duneland Athletic Conference double dual meet at Merrillville on Tuesday.

The Trojans beat LaPorte 25-34 and the host Pirates 18-45.

Chesterton was led by a second place finish by Hannah Hoffman in 20:26 with Melanie Buckmaster following in third (20:53).

Kassidy Scott was sixth (21:26), Leah Sink was eighth (21:34), Josie Tolin was ninth (21:41) and Erin Socha was 10th (21:46) to round out the meetís top 10 finishers.
