The Trojans scored
four first half goals and cruised to a 9-0 IHSAA Sectional opening victory
over Michigan City at Portage High School.

Grimes and Olivia Hansen all added tallies to set the final score.

The Trojans will
face off against Valparaiso, a 6-0 winner over Hobart, on Saturday night in
the Sectional Championship beginning at 7 p.m.
Chesterton are such a great rivalry, that anything can happen,” Conway said.
“It’s the Sectional Championship. Records don’t matter. It’s all about the
team with the most talent. It’s about teams that work together and that is
where our success comes from.”
