CHS Girls Hoops dominant at East Chicago

The Chesterton girls basketball team took its game on the road and came back with a 64-37 non-conference win at East Chicago Central on Tuesday.

Caroline Puntillo poured in 29 points and grabbed 18 rebounds to lead the Trojans. Jocelyn Lipscomb tallied 16 points in the victory.

Richards led the defensive charge with seven steals and Jordan Wadding dished out a team-best three assists.

Junior Varsity

Chesterton 44, EC Central 20

The Chesterton junior varsity girls basketball team picked up a 44-20 victory over EC Central on Tuesday.

Lia Lombardini led the Trojans with 11 points, while Jenna Tarnowski tallied seven points. Cammie Brown and Shannon McCoy each scored six points.

Morgan Skube recorded five points with Teresa Raffin scoring four points. Xaundra Rodriguez (3 points) and Sam Warren (2 points) rounded out the scoring.
