CHS Girls Golf remains undefeated

The Chesterton girls golf team remained undefeated with a 155-221 victory over Michigan City at Michigan City Municipal Golf Course on Tuesday.

Kelly Grassel led the way for the Trojans with a 34, while Marissa Kroeger backed her up with a 37. Nicole Dutz shot 41, followed by Taryn Tursty (43) and Grace Davis (47).

Michigan City -- Kristen Palmer 52, Lizzie Smith 54, Claire Werner 57, Tara Seizys 58, Veronica Werner 64.

Records: Chesterton 6-0 (4-0 DAC), Michigan City 3-6 (0-4 DAC).

Junior Varsity

Chesterton 224, Michigan City NTS

The Chesterton junior varsity fired a 224 team score on Tuesday at Michigan City Municipal.

Jennifer Kattalia led the way for the Trojans with a 45, followed by Alyssa Huckaby (52), Rachel Enright (63), Becca Schmiegel (64) and Elle Donovan (66).
