The Chesterton girls track team finished fifth overall in the 14-team West Lafayette Relays on Saturday.

The Trojans top finishes came with runner-up runs in the 4x400 group of Kristen Homme, Anna Raffin, Jordyn Kincy and Tia Peters (4:08.23) and the Sprint Medley quartet of Claire Brady, Kincy, Ari Mahaffey and Raffin (1:55.07).

Chesterton also finished third in the 4x200 (Kincy, Mahaffey, Raffin, Peters) in 1:50.29, while the 4x800 was also third (Rosie Biehl, Homme, Tori Schroeder, Josie Tolin) in 9:51.08.

Individually, Katie Haggerty was the top performer with a fourth place finish in the high jump and Alexis Malay was fifth in the pole vault.
