girls left little doubt on Prelim night.

events as they set themselves up to win an 18th straight IHSAA Sectional
title Thursday night.
“It’s hard to get
motivated and fired up for Prelim Night,” Chesterton coach Kevin Kinel said.
“But, the girls really came to swim and swam pretty strong. I think our
confidence is pretty high heading in to Saturday.”

all 24 individual swimmers into the finals and took the top seed in all

“Aubrey is a big
meet swimmer,” Kinel said. “She always comes on at the end of the year and
she’s doing it again. She’s swimming with a lot of confidence.”
The IHSAA Diving
Sectional prelims will begin on Saturday at 9 a.m. and the Swimming Finals
are scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at CHS.
