CHS Boys Tennis blanks Lowell

The Chesterton boys tennis team picked up a 5-0 victory at Lowell on Monday.

In singles, Mike Clemens beat Ben Roesel 6-2, 0-6, 6-0 at No. 1, while Trey Moffett beat Delmer Fleming 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2. Zac Nabhan completed the singles sweep with a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3 over Zeb Johnson.

In doubles, Ryan Sears and Christian O’Brien beat Jasen Sevich and Jared Hopkins 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1. Remy Hoang and Brent Sergent defeated Tyler Denn and David Delgado 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2.

Junior Varsity

Chesterton 6, Lowell 2

The Chesterton junior varsity picked up a win on the road at Lowell 6-2.

Chesterton’s Conner Kuhnle, Brady Wade, Tom McGue and James Jewison all won in straight sets to sweep all four singles positions.

In doubles, Tristen Manuzsak and Dylan Jayasuriya won 8-2 at No. 1 followed by a win at No. 2 by Nate Dickinson and Conner Archbald.
