The Chesterton boys soccer team gave up a goal, then dominated play in a 4-1
victory at Culver Academy on Monday.
“This was a nice game to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Valparaiso
last week,” Chesterton coach Jamie Sensibaugh said. “Overall, I was
pleased.”
Culver took a 1-0 lead in the 23rd minute of action, but the Trojans
responded with two goals of their own before halftime for a 2-1 lead at the
break.
Two more Chesterton goals set the final score.
Goal scorers for the Trojans included Billy Biehl (2 goals), John Ward and
Nick Barango. Zach Froman dished out two assists and Kody Lobsiger had one
assist.
