The Chesterton boys golf team picked up a pair of Duneland Athletic Conference victories with a triangular win over Lake Central and Portage on Tuesday at Robbinhurst.

The Trojans shot a 148-team score to best LC (151) and Portage (175).

“At Robbinhurst, you just have to avoid trouble, take your par and move on,” Chesterton coach Pat Ward said. “The guys did a nice job of that today. They just played the hole and moved on.”

Devin Trusty led CHS with a one-over-par 35, while Sean Elliott and Cameron Schultz both fired a 37. Jackson Roberts shot 39 and Jackson Kerkes rounded out the scoring with a 44.

CHS returns to the course on Thursday when they host Crown Point at Sand Creek Country Club. Tee time is 4 p.m.
