CHS Boys Golf splits DAC triangular

The Chesterton boys golf team split a Duneland Athletic Conference triangular on Monday at the Brassie.

Valparaiso won the meet with a 157, followed by the Trojans (158) and LaPorte (189).

Devin Trusty led CHS with an even par 36 on the front nine, while Jackson Roberts followed with a 40. Sean Elliott (41), Jackson Kerkes (41) and Cameron Schultz (48) followed.

The Trojans return to the course tonight when they travel to Lake Central to face the Indians and Portage beginning at 4:15 p.m.

Junior Varsity

Chesterton 196, Valparaiso 200, LaPorte 218

The Chesterton junior varsity beat Valparaiso and LaPorte on Monday.

Rueben Coslov shot 40 to lead the Trojans. Max Winski (46), Payton Disney (53), Keyon Allen (57) and Owen Pilarski (59) followed.
