The Chesterton boys golf team finished 10th overall in the 15-team Lafayette Jefferson Invitational at Coyote Crossing on Saturday.

Evansville Memorial shot 306 to win the event, followed by Hamilton Southeastern (310), Zionsville (313), Mooresville 314) and Noblesville (318) in the top five. Chesterton fired a 339.

Austin Johnson led the Trojans with an 80, while Zach von Huben shot 83 and Brandon Martin carded an 85. Evan Zondor shot 91 and Logan Krantz shot 93 to round out the scoring.

The Chesterton junior varsity team finished fifth overall at the LaVille Invitational. The Trojans fired a 355 team score with Triton taking top honors (315).

Scott Chemma led the way for Chesterton with an 85. Alec Slazas (89), John Kelley (89) and Zach Bogich (92) completed the Trojans’ team scoring.
