The Chesterton boys soccer team dropped a 5-0 decision to West Lafayette Harrison on Saturday.

“West Lafayette is the most lethal team offensively that I’ve seen in my career,” Chesterton coach Jamie Sensibaugh said “They were undefeated last year until we beat them in the Semistate. They have the entire team back.”

The Trojans were playing without center back Sam Weller who was injured in last Wednesday night’s loss to Lake Central.

“It was a tough loss after a tough loss at LC on Wednesday,” Sensibaugh said. “We played without Sam and that made it difficult to play against, what I think, is the best team we’ve played all year.”

Chesterton returns to the field on Wednesday when they host Portage. The JV game is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.
