CHS Boys fall at Mishawaka Marian

The Chesterton boys basketball team dropped its fifth straight game in a 72-55 non-conference loss at Mishawaka Marian on Friday night.

Chris Palombizio led the Trojans with 24 points, while Corey Rusboldt scored 12 and Jacob Wasielewski added 11.

The Trojans hit on 20-of-49 shots (41 percent) from the floor and were 7-of-8 from the foul line. Mishawaka Marian hit on 28-of-32 foul shots (88 percent).

Chesterton will be back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to Munster. The junior varsity game is slated for a 6 p.m. tip.

The Chesterton junior varsity improved to 11-6 on the year with a 44-41 victory over Mishawaka Marian on Friday night.

Ray Yagelski led the Trojans with 11 points (2 assists), while Jared Struss added nine points (1 assist). Antwan Beeks tallied eight points (4 assists) with Jake Weber adding six points (3 rebounds) and Marlon Williams contributing two points (5 rebounds).
