CHS Boys beat No. 5 South Bend Adams

The Chesterton boys basketball team made it a 2-0 weekend with a 68-56 victory over No. 5 South Bend Adams on Saturday night.

The Trojans led 16-11 after one quarter and increased the lead to 31-21 and were never threatened by the 13-2 Eagles.

Jake Warren led CHS with 18 points, while Alex Schmidt and Sean Elliott each added 13 points in the victory.

Rounding out the scoring for the Trojans were Jake Wadding (9 points), Travis Grayson (8 points), Tyler Vanderwoude (5 points) and Chris Mullen (2 points).
