It took a little
while to get the bats going, but the Chesterton baseball team did and
cruised to a 10-0 Duneland Athletic Conference victory over Merrillville on

onto the scoreboard in the fourth as Tommy Benson drew a leadoff walk. After
reaching second on a balk, Benson scored the game’s first run on an RBI
single from Austin Peterson.
Tyler Nelson stole second and went to third on a passed ball during an at
